The integral reform of an English row-style house is always a challenge because of the linearity of the plot and the complexity of providing all rooms with natural light and ventilation.
In the case of this project, the access is made through a patio, which is created by tearing down the roof and leaving the existing wooden beams. This strategy adds privacy to the rooms closest to the street as well as more natural lighting.
The house is developed in a linear fashion, with two courtyards that break this directionality and provide the rest of the rooms with natural lighting and ventilation.
The kitchen and living room are connected to the inner courtyard through a large window that extends the interior space to a private rear terrace.
