This single family house with a four-wind façade is located in Llicà d’Amunt, a municipality located in the mountainous area of the province of Barcelona.
The house is located in the back of the plot, in order to provide more privacy to the building. This type of housing allows the relationship between interior and exterior of the house, so we can focus on the outdoors.
The rest of the plot area is used to locate a swimming pool, a parking area and different terraces.
The volume of the house is clearly marked by playing both with flat and inclined roofs; this geometry aims to generate interior spaces where a maximum relationship between different uses and spaces is achieved, as well as a total collection of exterior light.
In turn, the inflection points where the roofs become flat, is where exterior spaces of terraces are generated on the first floor obtaining the same ratio of indoor-outdoor spaces that are found on the ground floor.
The roof also generates different overhangs that protect and give continuity to the entire perimeter of the façade.
