CASA SANT PAU
This house is located on Sant Pau Street, close to one of Sabadell’s main thoroughfares. In this renewal, we faced a project in which traditional elements and existing features such as hydraulic mosaic floor tiles, exposed bricked walls and wooden beams coexist with modern elements.
The staircase is the center of this project being the core where you can appreciate the combination of the pre-existing elements with the new construction.
The low part of the staircase is used to establish different routes to the kitchen and dining room area. The two openings located on both sides of the kitchen’s peninsula allow obtaining a more fluid circulation around the house.
The intervention recovers natural light in all rooms and the use artificial lighting as an enhancing element creates warm and welcoming spaces.
